Job Summary:

Senior Motions Graphic Designer will lead our growing in-house motion graphics/design team. Utilizing experience in design mixed with knowledge in motion graphics and 3D to assist creative team with client specific content production.

Essential Functions:

Lead team of 3 motion graphics designers.
Creating innovative conceptual ideas.
Creating DVD menus, spots, opens and bumpers for various brands.
Help prepare assets for the senior designer and director.
Pushing the boundaries of our ever-expanding industry.
Lead monthly graphic packages for clients while maintaining close communication with the Design Director, Editors and Producers.
Regularly evaluate existing programs and think of ways to enhance the brand experience
Regularly meetings with creative directors and designers at our top accounts (some travel required)

Qualifications:

Strong design portfolio, including 5+ years of motion design experience.
Well-developed communication skills.
Ability to think creatively, strategically & technically.
Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
In-depth understanding of the limitations and opportunities in motion/broadcast design. Solid footing on the line between creative expression and commercial reality.
Understanding of branding and ability to execute a variety of styles.

Experience/Training/Education/Certification:

Experience with hands on production, idea conception, storyboarding, branding, experimental research, and vision.
Strong knowledge of typography.
Extensive knowledge of After Effect, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office
3D (Maya, Cinema 4D, 3D Max) knowledge a plus
Mac platform
